About

Inside

Weaver’s Cottage is a quintessential English home — elegant, tactile and perfectly proportioned. Recently redesigned by interior designer Imraan Ismail, the cottage combines rich textures, soft lighting and heritage detail to create a luxurious yet lived-in feel.

The sitting room exudes warmth and character, with deep armchairs, soft throws and an inviting atmosphere ideal for long evenings by the fire. The adjoining dining kitchen is fully equipped for convivial cooking, featuring two cook stations including a baby AGA, high-quality appliances and thoughtful touches throughout.

Upstairs are two beautifully appointed double bedrooms and a family bathroom, while a third double bedroom is housed in a separate garden suite — an ideal setup for guests seeking space and privacy. Bathrooms are finished to a high standard, combining classic fittings with understated style.

Outside

The sheltered garden offers a peaceful escape, with a dining area, barbecue and mature planting that creates both privacy and charm. The boot room and cloakroom provide space for country walks, and umbrellas and Hunter wellies in various sizes are available for guests.

Location

Situated in the heart of Kingham — often cited as one of England’s finest villages — Weaver’s Cottage is within walking distance of The Wild Rabbit and The Kingham Plough, and only minutes from Daylesford Organic Farm and Soho Farmhouse. Kingham’s own mainline station connects directly to London Paddington in 90 minutes, making it a perfect weekend escape without the need for a car.

Warm, elegant and unmistakably Cotswold, Weaver’s Cottage offers a rare mix of style, comfort and authenticity — the kind of place that feels both deeply local and effortlessly special.

Cotswolds

The Cotswolds is one of England’s most picturesque regions, celebrated for its honey-stone villages, rolling hills, and timeless charm. Spanning several counties, it’s an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where winding lanes lead to historic market towns, ancient churches, and cosy country pubs.

From elegant towns like Stow-on-the-Wold and Burford to the peaceful meadows around Chipping Campden and Broadway, the Cotswolds offers a perfect mix of heritage and tranquillity. Days can be spent exploring stately homes, wandering through flower-filled gardens, or walking the scenic Cotswold Way.

Local life moves at a gentler pace here, shaped by centuries of craftsmanship, agriculture, and tradition. Visitors can browse independent boutiques, sample seasonal produce at farm shops, or join local festivals that celebrate everything from food to music and the arts. Whether you’re enjoying a lazy afternoon tea, cycling between hilltop villages, or visiting renowned landmarks like Blenheim Palace, the Cotswolds promises an authentic and memorable taste of the English countryside.
