About

Inside

Each of the three barns at Ampneyfield Farm has been designed with understated luxury and practical comfort in mind. Vaulted ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows and soft neutral tones create light, inviting interiors, perfect for gathering or relaxing.

The Shaker-style kitchens are fully equipped with everything needed for effortless self-catering: electric cookers, ovens, fridge-freezers, microwaves, dishwashers, kettles, toasters, coffee makers, wine glasses, cookware and all the basics for cooking. Dining tables seat ten comfortably when the barns are rented together, ideal for shared meals and celebrations.

Each bedroom features crisp bed linen, room-darkening blinds and generous storage. Families will find both a cot and travel cot available, along with a high chair. Bathrooms are modern and thoughtfully stocked with essentials — towels, soap and toilet paper — and include baths, hot water, and hair dryers for convenience.

All barns are fitted with high-speed 900 Mbps Wi-Fi, 48" smart HDTVs with Amazon Prime Video, Bluetooth sound systems and comfortable living areas with books, reading material and board games. A washer, dryer, iron and ironing board are available, along with a dedicated workspace for those who need to check in with work during their stay. A shared indoor playroom offers toys, books and games for younger guests.

Outside

Each barn opens onto its own private enclosed garden and terrace, complete with outdoor furniture for alfresco dining or evening drinks. The views stretch across the orchard and farm fields, and the courtyards are perfect for soaking up the peace of the countryside. Free, secure parking is provided beside the barns.

Cotswolds

The Cotswolds is one of England’s most picturesque regions, celebrated for its honey-stone villages, rolling hills, and timeless charm. Spanning several counties, it’s an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where winding lanes lead to historic market towns, ancient churches, and cosy country pubs.

From elegant towns like Stow-on-the-Wold and Burford to the peaceful meadows around Chipping Campden and Broadway, the Cotswolds offers a perfect mix of heritage and tranquillity. Days can be spent exploring stately homes, wandering through flower-filled gardens, or walking the scenic Cotswold Way.

Local life moves at a gentler pace here, shaped by centuries of craftsmanship, agriculture, and tradition. Visitors can browse independent boutiques, sample seasonal produce at farm shops, or join local festivals that celebrate everything from food to music and the arts. Whether you’re enjoying a lazy afternoon tea, cycling between hilltop villages, or visiting renowned landmarks like Blenheim Palace, the Cotswolds promises an authentic and memorable taste of the English countryside.
