About

The House

Sheepscombe House is the major part of a magnificent, petite Georgian Manor House, completely recreated inside with impeccable taste and style by the new owners. The atmosphere is that of a comfortable and relaxed haven, yet it remains a welcoming, cosy family home. The ground floor features a double drawing room, warmed by open fireplaces. For dining, there are two distinct spaces: a smaller, panelled dining room for intimate gatherings, and a conservatory dining room that opens onto a private terrace. The kitchen breakfast room is superbly equipped for serious cooking, featuring two range cookers. For entertainment, there is a substantial, dramatic cinema room.

The Grounds

The house enjoys a stunning and private location, overlooking the picturesque village and valley of Sheepscombe. It is set within one of the most attractive parts of Gloucestershire and is surrounded on two sides by its own fields. Outdoor features are abundant and include a seasonal swimming pool and an all-weather tennis court, allowing for year-round activity. A private terrace with a dedicated barbecue area sits off the conservatory dining room, perfect for outside entertaining. Parking is well-catered for, with a three-bay garage and stable. There is also the possibility of securing on-site staff accommodation in the separate, newly refurbished Orchard Cottage.
