About

Redesdale Cottage sits on the south-western side of Sheep Street in Burford — steps from the high street yet set in a calm, tucked-away position. It is carefully decorated, bright and spacious, with a long garden that catches the sun throughout the day. With three bedrooms and three bathrooms (two shower rooms and one with a full-size bath), the cottage works well for 4+2 — four adults and two children or up to five adults.

Inside

The cottage has a warm, welcoming feel, with a cosy sitting room, a separate dining room for slow meals, and a kitchen–breakfast room centred around an AGA. A separate utility room keeps longer stays easy to manage. Bedrooms are spread across two floors, each with access to its own bathroom, making the layout straightforward for families or two couples travelling with children. Natural light and soft colours give the interiors an easy charm.

Outside

A 50-foot lawned garden runs behind the house, with space to sit, read and relax. A breakfast patio sits close to the kitchen, equipped with a BBQ and a wood-fired pizza oven for evenings outdoors. At the far end is a small “secret” box garden with a summerhouse — an ideal spot for painting, writing or quiet time.
