About

Pickwick End is a beautifully restored Georgian property that balances architectural heritage with modern ease. With its symmetrical façade, generous ceiling heights and refined proportions, it offers the presence of a small country manor while remaining welcoming and practical for group stays.

Inside

The house is arranged over three floors, with six bedrooms in total — four on the first floor and two on the second. Three bedrooms have en-suite facilities, complemented by a full bathroom with separate shower, an additional shower room and a separate WC. Bedrooms are furnished with hotel-standard beds, high thread count Egyptian cotton linen and a mix of super king, king, double and twin configurations. Many retain original fireplaces, working shutters and views across the gardens.

On the ground floor, the formal dining room seats twelve and is rich in character, with a stone floor, open fireplace and well-stocked bookshelves. Two reception rooms — the principal drawing room and an adjacent sitting room — provide generous space for conversation and relaxation.

The kitchen–breakfast room is designed for sociable cooking and informal gatherings. It is well equipped with a gas oven and hob, two additional electric ovens, microwave, fridge-freezer and two dishwashers, offering capacity for larger groups with ease.

Outside

Immaculate walled gardens surround the house, with landscaped lawns and established planting creating privacy and structure. The outdoor space is ideal for relaxed afternoons, children’s play or pre-dinner drinks in warmer months.
