Latimer Farmhouse & Cottage offers exclusive use of the 19th-century listed Farmhouse and adjacent self-contained Cottage, set within seven acres of gardens and orchard with access to the Dutch Entertainment Barn, seasonal heated pool, tennis court, gym and sauna — a private and expansive North Cotswolds retreat for up to 16 guests.
Latimer Farmhouse & Cottage sits within the wider Latimer Farm Estate, offering a refined and spacious country stay centred around the main Farmhouse and the adjacent four-bedroom Cottage. Together they provide generous accommodation within landscaped gardens and orchard, combining heritage architecture with contemporary comfort.
Described by Country Life Editor Mark Hedges as “one of the most charming places that you could spend a few days,” the setting is both elegant and quietly expansive.
The Farmhouse forms the heart of the property, with beautifully proportioned reception rooms, a cinema room and carefully considered interiors that balance period character with modern ease. The adjacent self-contained Cottage provides four further bedrooms and living space, ideal for extended family, guests or additional privacy within the group.
Together, the Farmhouse and Cottage accommodate up to 16 guests, plus infants in cots. The Dutch Entertainment Barn — included with this option — serves as the central dining and gathering space, overlooking the pool and tennis court, and designed for shared meals and relaxed evenings.
A gym, steam room and barrel sauna provide wellness facilities within the estate, allowing guests to unwind after time outdoors.
Seven acres of immediate gardens and apple orchard surround the buildings, leading into a further 17 acres of open fields. The seasonal heated pool operates from May to September (and occasionally beyond, subject to weather and additional fee). The tennis court, completed in 2023, includes integrated football goals.
The grounds offer ample space for outdoor dining, games and long walks directly from the door.
Located near Oddington in the North Cotswolds, the property is within a 30-minute walk across the fields to Daylesford Organic Farm, with its farm shop, restaurants, spa and gardens. Stow-on-the-Wold, Chipping Norton and Burford are all within approximately 20 minutes’ drive, placing the property at the centre of the region while maintaining privacy and scale.
Housekeeping and a weekday in-stay concierge service are included within the quoted rate.
