About

Kingscote Park sits on the edge of the village of Kingscote, offering the scale and architectural presence of a Regency manor balanced with the comfort of a welcoming country home.

Inside

The ground floor unfolds through a sequence of elegant reception rooms, including a formal drawing room, a snug library, a music room and a comfortable sitting room, each characterised by period detailing, chandeliers and working fires. A retro jukebox in the hall adds a light contrast to the otherwise classical interiors.

At the centre of the house is a generous kitchen–breakfast room with AGA, designed for relaxed, sociable cooking. The adjoining dining spaces comfortably accommodate large groups, making the house particularly well suited to extended family stays or milestone celebrations. Guests may self-cater or arrange catering as required.

Across the upper floors are eight double bedrooms in the main house, each individually styled and enjoying views across the parkland. The Zen Wing provides two additional double bedrooms, offering flexibility for larger groups. A separate Gate Lodge offers private accommodation for two, complete with its own kitchen, Jacuzzi bath and Japanese-inspired tea garden.

Outside

The house is surrounded by 28 acres of landscaped grounds, combining formal gardens, woodland and open parkland. Features include a walled herb garden, labyrinth, healing spiral, Celtic wishing tree and Asian-inspired garden spaces, including a Chinese scholar’s garden and Japanese tea garden. The lawns and ornamental features create a tranquil and expansive setting for outdoor gatherings.

The estate adjoins the Matara Centre, an established venue for weddings and celebrations, with cloistered courtyards and a domed glass reception space available for larger events.
