Built for the stable grooms and mirroring Goodwood across the courtyard, it offers a bright and comfortable base within this highly regarded country estate. Guests enjoy both the privacy of their own cottage and access to Bruern’s extensive shared amenities, award-winning gardens and tranquil riverside setting.

The heart of the cottage is a large open-plan drawing room, dining area and fully equipped kitchen. Six windows allow light to flood the space, creating an airy and relaxed atmosphere throughout the day. The layout makes it ideal for sociable meals, quiet reading or evenings by the fire.
The master bedroom features a four poster bed, a washbasin set within a mirrored alcove, and a window seat overlooking the garden. The twin bedroom includes one bed set within a charming toile de jouy lined alcove, adding character and warmth. The cottage is thoughtfully arranged to feel both intimate and practical.
Outside
Cheltenham has its own summerhouse and private terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue, perfect for outdoor dining during warmer months. The surrounding estate gardens offer four acres of landscaped grounds along the River Evenlode.
Guests have access to Bruern’s spa, gym, indoor heated swimming pool, new tennis court, games room, children’s play area and Wendy house. On-site bikes are available, and daily cleaning and newspapers can be arranged on request. Bruern holds England’s Gold Award in recognition of its exceptional standards.
