Bookers Cottage is one of the renowned Bruern Cottages in the heart of the Oxfordshire Cotswolds. Built in the 19th century from mellow Cotswold stone, it sits within its own apple orchard and offers a relaxed, welcoming base for families or small groups. Guests benefit from Bruern’s award-winning gardens, spa and extensive estate facilities while enjoying the privacy of their own cottage.

Inside

The drawing room is centred around an open fire with windows overlooking the garden, creating a warm and welcoming space throughout the year. The fully equipped kitchen dining room opens through French windows onto the terrace, making it easy to move between indoor and outdoor living.

The master bedroom features a king-size four poster bed with en-suite bathroom. Two twin bedrooms share a family bathroom, offering a practical layout for families or friends travelling together.

Outside

The cottage is set within a generous private garden bordered by orchard trees. A pergola-covered terrace with barbecue provides a sheltered setting for outdoor dining, while the lawn offers space to relax. A shared children’s play corner with seesaw and swings sits nearby.

Guests have full access to Bruern’s spa, gym, indoor heated swimming pool, tennis court, games room, on-site bikes and children’s play areas. The estate is set within four acres of landscaped gardens along the River Evenlode and holds England’s Gold Award.
