About

A six bedroom five bathroom Georgian manor house close to the historic city of Bath

A stunning Grade II listed Georgian property, with the air and grace of a small Manor House, Pickwick End has been beautifully restored in a contemporary style and retains many original features. It is elegantly and luxuriously furnished and has an abundance of modern facilities. The house is situated in Pickwick on the edge of the town of Corsham in Wiltshire.  It has many local facilities including shops, pubs and restaurants. It is nine miles from the Georgian city of Bath and an ideal base to explore the wealth of history and heritage on your doorstep whilst taking in the splendour of the beautiful surrounding countryside.

The Kitchen has ample room for relaxing, socialising and entertaining. It is well equipped with gas oven & hob, two electric ovens, microwave, fridge/freezer and two dishwashers. The dining room seats twelve people and is brimming with character, with stone floor, well stocked book shelves, original working shutters and open fireplace. There are two receptions rooms, one the main drawing room and the other an adjacent sitting room.

There are six bedrooms in total, four on the 1st floor and two on the 2nd floor. All well appointed with hotel standard beds, excellent pillows and high thread count Egyptian cotton bed linen; and a combination of super king-size, king-size, double and twins rooms. Three of the bedrooms have en-suite facilities and there is also a separate shower room and WC plus a full bathroom with separate shower and WC. Most of the bedrooms have feature fireplaces, original working shutters, windows overlooking the gardens and original artwork.

Cotswolds

North Lodge Blenheim is ideally located for discovering the most stunning areas of the Cotswolds. It’s just a few minutes away from the charming town of Chipping Campden, known for its rich history and stunning architecture.

Once a bustling wool trading center, the town's beautifully preserved buildings reflect its prosperous past. Today, Chipping Campden offers a vibrant atmosphere with excellent restaurants, cozy pubs, and boutique shops. The surrounding countryside is dotted with picturesque villages, rolling hills, and lovely walking trails, making it an ideal base for exploring the Cotswolds.
An added bonus of staying near Chipping Campden is the easy access to nearby attractions such as the historic town of Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of Shakespeare, and the magnificent Blenheim Palace. Alternatively, why not let us arrange a guided tour of the Cotswolds' hidden gems, from secluded gardens to lesser-known historical sites?

Also close to La Favorita are the enchanting villages of Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water, and Broadway, as well as the stunning landscapes of the Cotswold Way and the tranquil waters of the Cotswold Water Park.
