About
Tucked away at the end of a single dead end road near the village of Long Newton, this former farmhouse is a wonderful and cosy family house with large gardens, pasture and stables with enough land to ride your own or hired horses.
There are five bedrooms including a top floor suite with a double and a single bedroom ideal for a couple with a young child or as a nanny suite. There are four reception rooms including the very large kitchen breakfast room with a separate dining room and the house provides wonderful flowing entertainment space and has a family room that can be quite easily turned into a yoga area.
The property is very private and although there is a rented cottage off the rear courtyard parking area that does not impinge on the overall privacy of the property and the gardens are self contained and not overlooked nor shared.
Tetbury is a renown Cotswold market town, King Charles’ local town for many years being close to his former country residence Highgrove, famous for its gardens which are open to the public. Tetbury is great for antiquing and has a good selection of independent shops and dining options and is a destination for foodies. Westonbirt Arboretum – the National Arboretum – is close as are many other attractions with the famous city of Bath only about a 35 minute drive away.

Cotswolds
North Lodge Blenheim is ideally located for discovering the most stunning areas of the Cotswolds. It’s just a few minutes away from the charming town of Chipping Campden, known for its rich history and stunning architecture.
Once a bustling wool trading center, the town's beautifully preserved buildings reflect its prosperous past. Today, Chipping Campden offers a vibrant atmosphere with excellent restaurants, cozy pubs, and boutique shops. The surrounding countryside is dotted with picturesque villages, rolling hills, and lovely walking trails, making it an ideal base for exploring the Cotswolds.
An added bonus of staying near Chipping Campden is the easy access to nearby attractions such as the historic town of Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of Shakespeare, and the magnificent Blenheim Palace. Alternatively, why not let us arrange a guided tour of the Cotswolds' hidden gems, from secluded gardens to lesser-known historical sites?
Also close to La Favorita are the enchanting villages of Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water, and Broadway, as well as the stunning landscapes of the Cotswold Way and the tranquil waters of the Cotswold Water Park.
