About

Five Bells Cottage is a three bedroom grade two 17th Century cotswold stone cottage very recently renovated to a very high standard in the heart of Bledington, a quintessential and unspoilt cotswolds village with a village green and a babbling brook. Set in a row of attractive cottages on a quiet lane and directly opposite the handsome Norman Church it is a short stroll is the famous Kings Head pub which has won numerous awards for food and drink.

The Space
The cottage is a 17th century village house with lots of original features, light and airy with higher than usual beamed ceilings and is filled with light. There is a lovely quiet and sunny walled rear garden and which has a table and chairs for eating and drinking and a brick built BBQ.

There is a Cleaview log burner in the sitting room and another in the hall / snug, a downstairs loo, a well equipped utility room with a sink. The bespoke painted wooden kitchen is equipped with an Aga and an integrated fridge freezer with, essential we think, an ice maker. There is underfloor heating in many parts of the cottage and a bespoke architectural lighting system designed and installed by Lightmaster of Shipston on Stour. In the garden there is a Barlow Tyrie table and chairs for six people, a wooden bench, teak loungers and of course a barbecue.

We include a welcome pack to get you started which includes a bottle of Fizz, Milk, Tea, Coffee pods, Eggs, Artisan Bread, Biscuits and Butter.

The Location
Right on the Oxfordshire way, Five Bells is the perfect place to explore the rolling Cotswolds on foot and walks to Kingham, Churchill and Nether Wescote all lead to fabulous pubs; and a walk to Daylesford Organic farm and shop is a lovely thing to do. And there is a very well stocked community shop in the village, selling a great range of produce including fruit, vegetables, meats and delicatessen items plus wines and beers.

Cotswolds

North Lodge Blenheim is ideally located for discovering the most stunning areas of the Cotswolds. It’s just a few minutes away from the charming town of Chipping Campden, known for its rich history and stunning architecture.

Once a bustling wool trading center, the town's beautifully preserved buildings reflect its prosperous past. Today, Chipping Campden offers a vibrant atmosphere with excellent restaurants, cozy pubs, and boutique shops. The surrounding countryside is dotted with picturesque villages, rolling hills, and lovely walking trails, making it an ideal base for exploring the Cotswolds.
An added bonus of staying near Chipping Campden is the easy access to nearby attractions such as the historic town of Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of Shakespeare, and the magnificent Blenheim Palace. Alternatively, why not let us arrange a guided tour of the Cotswolds' hidden gems, from secluded gardens to lesser-known historical sites?

Also close to La Favorita are the enchanting villages of Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water, and Broadway, as well as the stunning landscapes of the Cotswold Way and the tranquil waters of the Cotswold Water Park.
